(What are manners when there are sausages to be had?!)

A small human (4) wearing a dinosaur T-shirt, Minecraft shorts and bare feet is skipping along the garden tool aisle. Roaring a song about Uncle Ben being a VERY BIG STINKY HEAD.

1. It tells apart 3 types of AI bots: ones that train models, ones that fetch content live because a user asked a question, and ones just doing research crawls.
2. It tests your site by pretending to be an AI crawler
3. "Markdown negotiation" (basically: can your page serve a clean Markdown version if an AI asks for one) is also a thing for Glippy because that's what tools like Claude Code and ChatGPT use in practice.

I know you're not very good at people. If you were good at people, you would not need this advice.

But I think you are probably capable of detecting question-marks, and in their absence assuming that the person who posted was not asking for it.

While I was working I would occasionally treat myself to original Matt Beard paintings. When I met him most of his fans seemed to be surfers. The only thing he and I had in common was the art itself. Seeing the California coast through his eyes and talent brought me joy then as it does now.
When I was accumulating all of these paintings I had a huge office with walls. When I retired the paintings came home with me. Sometimes I feel guilty that they are closeted away here. I keep them on our walls because they are safer there. The earthquakes move them but they don't fall.
I'm not sure why I connect with this artist more than others. Why people do things and feel things is a mystery to me. Even when it's me I'm trying to understand.
I own dozens of all shapes and sizes and every one of them speaks to me.
I need to text Matt and tell him again how much I appreciate his talent.

Grand Canyon National Park: Public Assistance Requested to Account for Individuals Following Grand Canyon Flash Flood

"...The National Park Service is asking the public to provide information for more than 20 individuals who may be missing or unaccounted for following a significant flash-flood event in Bright Angel Canyon and the Phantom Ranch area on August 29.

Grand Canyon National Park staff, in coordination with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, are continuing evacuation and response efforts and working to account for individuals who may have been in the affected area.

The National Park Service is asking anyone who knows of hikers or backpackers who were in the inner canyon along the Bright Angel Creek corridor on August 29, as well as anyone who had a campground reservation in the affected corridor, to provide information to the National Park Service Investigative Services Branch (ISB). This includes individuals who may have been traveling along the North Kaibab Trail from the North Kaibab Trailhead to Phantom Ranch, staying at Bright Angel Campground, or traveling or staying in the area known as “the Box” north of Phantom Ranch. ..."
